Tango at Two-Thirty

By Carole Fenstermacher

Director: Charles Kolmann

Wednesday – Saturday, 8 pm
Sundays, 3 pm

This world premiere of Tango at Two-Thirty is about the lives of three couples who are residents at Lago Palms Village. Through their experiences, we explore the notion that love can come when it is least expected, and that age is no barrier to finding marital bliss.

Playwright’s Bio

Carole Fenstermacher Author Her Last Staring Role at The Marco Players

Carole Fenstermacher (Playwright) is honored that Marco Players is presenting her labor of love, Tango At Two-Thirty. It began as three separate one-act plays: Maureen’s Last Wish (Gulfshore Playhouse’s annual contest, Florida Stories, 2007); Say Goodnight, Rita (Center for the Arts/Bonita Springs Acting Showcase 2012); and Paradise Blue (Naples Players’ ETC Evening of New Plays 2010). Fast forward to the summer of 2014, I had the idea that the theme of this trio had some common ground, and this was the beginning of the separate one-acts coming together as one: Tango at Two-Thirty.  For the last six years, when not on a stage, behind a stage, or writing for the stage, she has taught acting at Pelican Marsh. None of this would be possible without support from the shining star in her life, Lance.

Victor Caroli

Featured Artist

Victor Caroli is an actor/photographer living in Naples, Florida. A former professional stage actor who makes his living as a voice over artist, Vic has been taking pictures for many years. When friends see Vic’s work they often say, “Hey man, you really should do something with your photography.” So here we are. We hope you enjoy looking through the galleries. Some of Vic’s images have hung in juried art shows. Several hang in his home. Maybe one or two might look nice in yours. Another idea for some of Vic’s images might be as part of the decor in the reception area and hallways of your office suite. Hmmm. Something to think about.
