Featured Artist

Marti Koehler is a SW Florida artist, painter of pets and nature and inspired by people.  With a background in Art Therapy and Art Education, Marti captures the connection between creativity and healing and communicates it in her work.

“In my career as a fine artist, I have painted many pet portraits, usually to console or entertain the people who own these fabulous creatures.  Through this practice, I meet pet owners who tell me stories of the antics of their dog, cat, or bird.  The spirit of my art is influenced by the deep connection between people and their animals.”

Marti lives in Naples, Florida with her husband, artist Ed Koehler, and her son.  She works in her studio daily with their two dogs Hazel and Kozi by her side.
