Dedicated in Memory of Richard Joyce

Richard Joyce Plaza Suite

Richard Joyce (1951 – 2019)

This production of Old Ringers is dedicated in loving memory of Richard Joyce.

Richard loved theater and theater loved him back.  An accomplished actor, director, and artistic director, Richard was invited to join The Marco Players in 1989 after he was heard singing, with great gusto, a Sancho Panza song. That marked the beginning of his long list of knock-out performances, productions and programs with The Marco Players.

Richard had many friends and admirers, and his theater family describe him as a stellar being, a consummate actor, director and friend who will be in their hearts forever. In loving memory and a fond farewell, “If I don’t see you through the week, I’ll see you through the window.” –A favorite quote from Richard Joyce.

In lieu of flowers, Richard’s family asks that donations be made to The Marco Players or AVOW Hospice.
