The Marco Players’ Board of Directors is pleased to announce this year’s recipients of the Chuck Daye Scholarship. Jenna Canfield, who is home schooled, and Chris Niemczyk, who attends Lely High School, will each receive a $1,500 scholarship.

The Marco Players Theater welcomes Upon A Star Foundation Theater Camp for the Summer. The Theater Camp is presented by the City of Marco Island and is held at The Marco Players Theater, located in Marco Island Town Center Mall. For more information please call Michele Sanchez at 682-8567.

The Marco Players announced three new board members; Ron Moores, Jim Swanker and Gerry Seiff.
"Each new member has been extremely active as a volunteer in this theater prior to their new board position," said Beverly Dahlstrom, Marco Players president. "Their skills and their commitment to the success of the theater will help continue our mission into the future and allow us to share the experience of 'live performance art' on Marco Island.
