"The Best Little Playhouse in Southwest Florida"
So you want to be a star? Let your light shine as a volunteer at The Marco Players! There are many interesting positions to chose from. All that is required is a smile and a sincere interest in making our theater a success.
Stage Managing – Join the crew backstage and enjoy the chance to work along side our “family” of actors.
Sound and Lighting – Anyone interested in learning how lighting and sound enhance a show can get creative with four different productions. Work on one or all four.
Costuming – If you have a flair for wardrobe or design, this is a volunteer job for you. You consult with your director and create (or find) costumes for our productions.
Makeup and Hair – Make them all look great when they hit the stage.
Prop Manager – All those items you see on a stage (furniture, pots, pans, ashtrays etc.) are necessary for each production. Shopping for all those props is great fun.
Hospitality - Ushering, serving refreshments, and assisting the House Manager when necessary.
Last year while putting together another production, we realized that it takes 50 to 60 volunteers just to bring one production to the stage for 15 performances. This is no small commitment on the part of our volunteers. It is because of the work of our volunteers that we are able to do what we do.
If you are interested send an email to Marilyn Hilbert (click on the email envelop)
We would love to have you join our family. Without your help, our community theater can’t survive.
