"The Best Little Playhouse in Southwest Florida"
Come Blow Your Horn by Neil Simon
November 3rd through November 21st

Harry Baker, owner of the largest artificial fruit business in the east has two sons, Alan and Buddy. This wonderful comedy, the first in Neil Simons’ stellar writing career, tells the story of  two brothers. Alan is a 33 year old playboy who goes skiing and plays golf rather than work. Buddy is a 21 year old trying to assert himself for the first time. In typical Neil Simon style, we are happily transported to New York in the 1960’s to experience the delightful comic complications that ensue with these two young men who are living the bachelor life in New York.
Seascape by Edward Albee
January 5th and runs through January 23rd

The second production of the season is the Pulitzer Prize winning play “Seascape” by Edward Albee. On a deserted stretch of beach a couple, relaxing after a picnic lunch, talk idly about home, family and their life together. She sketches, he naps, and then, suddenly, they are joined by two sea creatures who have decided to leave the ocean depths and come ashore. Initial fear and then suspicion of each other are soon replaced by curiosity and, before long, the humans and the creatures (who speak admirable English) are engaged in a fascinating dialogue about the possibility of life out of water.
Take Five by Michael Hennessey
February 9th through February 27th

A hilarious new comedy about love, betrayal, divorce, and a not so well planned funeral. Seamus Fensley has been married five times. Each of his ex-wives arrives at the funeral  with a “special” memory of their life with Seamus. This original script is a funny and delightful look at what happens when you bring together five ex-wives, the casket, the funeral director and the corpse.  What you get is one hilariously funny evening!
